Film Camera to Video Camera InterfaceK-SBL is used to link a film camera and a video camera together. Whenever the film camera is switched to run, a recording command is sent to the camcorder. Similarily, the camcorder stops when the shooting is finished. Thus, both cameras always shoot at the same time. The device can be connected to any movie camera with a connector that outputs an indication of the camera running, e.g. frame pulses, constant voltage, or even pilot signal. The recoding of the video camera is controlled by sending start and stop commands as LANC data (Sony, Canon) or by sending one start pulse and one stop pulse (Panasonic). For more information, see the instructions for use. At the beginning of each take, a sync mark with an audible and visual indication is given if the function is enabled. A start marking lamp of an Arriflex 16 S or 16 SR lights up at the same time if the device is connected to the 5 pin Tuchel connector. Please, email if you do not find a cable you are looking for on the list below. |
